Sean Smith spent 10 years at <em><strong>Chicago Bridge & Iron</strong></em> NV (CB&I) consolidating the global Real Estate roles, functions and responsibilities into a single corporate operating unit. As <em><strong>Director of Global Assets/ Real Estate</strong></em>, his group was responsible for: corporate budgeting, strategic portfolio management, transaction negotiations, leases, build-to-suits, sale-leasebacks, 1031 Exchanges, property acquisitions/dispositions, lease expense audits, transaction financial analysis, SOX compliance. Sean’s group was responsible for preparing & presenting all transactions to the operating business and executive leadership.
In addition to Real Estate, Sean was also the Corporate Assistant Treasurer and later the Director of Finance & Business Administration for a CB&I business unit. Sean began his career at Arthur Andersen & Company in the audit division, working in California, Washington and Puerto Rico.
Sean received his Undergraduate degree in Finance at Santa Clara University and his Masters of Business degree from Texas A&M. He is a Texas CPA and a graduate of Leadership Montgomery County (2017).
At Foldetta Commercial, his primary areas of focus will be (i) <a href=”/services/tenant-representation/”>tenant representation</a>, (ii) land sales and development and (iii) corporate advisory services.
Sean has lived in The Woodlands area since 2001 with his wife Laury. They have two boys, Jacob and Matthew. He is active in Rotary and when not working, he is with his boys playing baseball or football.
